U know what, the same thing happened to cotto and margarito 2. Under normal circumstances Margo would not be allowed to fight, but the money entrenched was just too much aka he couldn't turn down the fight. The money was good, the timing impeccable also the eye was effed up thanks to Manny. But there was just too much hype going into this!

What I meant to say was that even if manny did have a remotely sore shoulder there was no way they could cancel the fight. Too much money made already from the revenue of the biggest fight of the century. No teddy here, just pac- may or marg-cotto. Sorry for the wrong metaphor.

Nah, Manny could've postponed the fight. Nobody knew he had a sore shoulder because he went around the world saying "I'm 100% healthy and when I beat Floyd and knock him out- Floyd will be the one making excuses!" He must've said that or similar rhetoric a dozen times. Fighters postpone fights when injured all the time, heck Manny himself had done it before. And that was against much worse competition than the fight of his life: Floyd Mayweather. Truth is nothing was wrong with manny's shoulder. He never even showed signs of anything wrong with his shoulder. The story didn't exist until after they had time to cook it up. Even then the story changed several times on camera and the world just watched and went along with it. Nobody on planet earth can do what Manny did, with a torn rotator cuff, nobody. Thats SCIENCE in effect. And then have it heal 2 weeks later and be swimming and say "God healed it in saltwater."
My point was Manny fans will love teddy for corroborating with that BS story. Marg was actually injured and Cotto admitted thats what he kept targeting big difference- but Marg wanted that fight for the money himself.
