Tapia had a hard life, no doubt, but I think it would take a LOT to top the hardness of being forced to be a killer when you're barely out of diapers.

Ouma had a very hard life no doubt but Tapia witnessed the brutal murder of his mother. His mother! holy **** that would really **** you up mentally for the rest of your natural life.

I dont know whats worse...being forced to kill or watching your own mother ****d , tortured and brutaly killed in front of your eyes.

About Tapia, he told his mom to stay home that weekend(that she was killed) and told her he had a bad feeling, for 2 nights straight he was in his front yard waiting for his mom, then he saw a pickup truck then he went up close and heard his mother SCREAMING for help and saw 2 guys in there, then he chased after them...but they drove off, then he went to wake up his grandpa and his grandpa told him to go to sleep because he's seeing things, then the next day word comes that she was stabbed 26 times with a pair of scissors and stabbed 7 more times with a screw driver. Therefore, he felt responsible for her dead.

Right before his fight with Romero, he found out who the killer was, but then he found out that he had died 6 months earlier in a car accident, that made him lose it and he went crazy, he wanted revenge.

From what I have heard now, Ouma's life was probably more ****ed up...

          Yeah..

Also, in his book, he says that he saw many people get killed.

He saw a friend get AXED in the head in a park....and obviously died...

Him and his good friend got in a fight once, and the friend pulled a knife on him and the cop shot his friend from far away and they said that they tried to shoot Tapia..

Torturing and killing people would **** you up way worse.
Both guys had it bad, but Ouma's life was ten times worse, in my opinion.
