The WBA should mandate some combination of fights between Manuel Charr, Trevor Bryan, and Robert Helenius to sort out the mess at heavyweight. Helenius at least has an upset win over Adam Kownacki but Charr has won more appeals than fights over the last few years and Trevor Bryan has yet to face and defeat anyone meaningful.

The WBA has as many ridiculous belts as the WBC and that's saying something. In the 4 belt era it's really more like 40 belt era

Charr is the only fighter to ever get off a VADA charge because of his B sample. What happened was that after the A sample tested positive for 2 PEDs, the lab opened and tested the B sample without Charr or his representative being present, which invalidated the whole test.

Now why doesn't that surprise me?..
