I dig MMA but MMA guys don't understand the economy of fighting if they think a boxer wants to compete in a sport they've never done for LESS money. Don't make no fooking sense for any boxer to fight in the cage for likely far less money than a MMA guy would get for fighting in the ring. If you aren't making big money anymore or never made big money in boxing a trip into the cage might make sense like it likely did for James Toney & Ray Mercer in their later years, but any guy with the drawing power of Tyson, Floyd. Manny or Oscar would be or have done themselves a financial disservice to fight in the cage for pennies on the dollar of their boxing money.

People say that UFC is more popular, some Truth to that. UFC is more popular with white suburban fans, which is what advertisers look for. But overall when you compare the two, ratings are about the same, and I'm taking when you compare good match ups not the garbage Top Rank has been putting on lately, but boxing pulls in another type of demographic that unfortunately advertisers don't care about. Another thing, MMA fighters are constantly calling out boxers because they want a pay day, and that's fine, but if you are calling out a boxer you be prepared to box in a ring, if these MMA fighters want to fight in the octagon I'd suggest fighting other MMA fighters.
