Can you imagine if every top fighter insisted on fighting the best available opponents what boxing would be? It would be a golden era all over again. He fights unbeaten fighters - and champs in lighter weights classes fight guys with 13 and 14 losses!! Something wrong with that picture!!

People talk a lot of crap about how much UFC pays its fighters, but the bottom people in UFC make a lot more than boxers. Regularly see B side fighters on undercards making 2-8k. Look at UFC 249, the prelim fighters make 15-48k in guaranteed purse with chance for KO/performance bonuses. No person can support a family on boxing "climbing the ladder" purses.
