Was an excellent amateur, one could argue he never truly adapted to the pros but his only loss was to Martinez on the road. Definitely could have won a world title IMO.

That's a shock, didn't expect that. When he turned pro I thought he was nailed on for a world title. Maybe he turned pro a touch too late

Possibly left too much in the amateurs. Definitely could have won a title with the right matchmaking though.
