For a main event, that was as sad as it got. Guy was like 14W 14L. Terrible to just put on a straight up showcase when even Mark Kriegel said, Emmanuel is going to win before it started. Why even watch then?
Remember WCW had the Smackdown days on Thursday nights? Those were pure jobber matches to just show off the marquee wrestlers. Like legit, I don't even know where they found so many. It takes skill to fake that shiiieeeet. I remember one dude, bell ran, ran straight into Lex Luger and he picked him up and tossed him into the torture rack. Bending the dude like a twig. Match was over in like 15 seconds.
Like wtf, that's what's going on here in the boxing world.
I know they don't want to put on quality matches for the simple reason, they can't pay those fighters with a live attendance missing. That gate $$$ does help. So instead we are going to continue getting these mismatches with the occasional surprise (there has been some). It just looks bad with what UFC has been putting out at the same time.
