Bob Arum has endured criticism the past couple weeks for the level of fights his promotional company has put on in Las Vegas. If the 88-year-old promoter's plan comes to fruition, though, Top Rank Inc. will bring one of the biggest boxing matches of the year to Las Vegas on September 19. That's the date Arum has targeted for the highly anticipated lightweight title unification bout between Vasiliy Lomachenko and Teofimo Lopez.

I’m willing to bet that this fight will not happen this year with everything that’s going on with the pandemic and will be pushed back to next year that’s if Teo can still make weight

If this fight doesn't happen this year it's not happening period it could have already been scheduled for June or July if Loma wanted it everyone is going to blame Teo when he can't make the weight but the kid is not 18 anymore and has said he's been having trouble making weight for a while.

Loma knows this and is probably hoping he accepts and drains himself but if I were Teo I'd just move up to 140 lots of better fights to be made anyways he might not become undisputed at 135 but at least he got a title off a legitimate champion.
