Comments Thread For: Jose Pedraza on Fight Being Called Off: It Could Have Been Worse

Jos 'Sniper' Pedraza could not hide the disappointment he felt when he received the news that the fight against Mikkel LesPierre had to be canceled hours before he was scheduled to enter the ring.

The whole card ****** anyway. Bob Arum has taken this opportunity to put boxing in a major spotlight and taken a big Heb rew dump on it. Contrastly, UFC and Dana White have taken advantage of the moment.

Not really you just been watching too much Dana White press conferences if you are a fan of boxing you are a fan of all platforms if not you are just a fanboy the main event was a decent match up nothing crazy but what do you expect a few weeks into the return the big matches will come until then just go watch UFC if you don't like them.

I watch both. I'm not a Marvel vs DC nerdy-type fanboy like you. Bob Arum is shoveling **** right now and most fans would agree. They are lopsided, showcase type fights where the winner is virtually guaranteed. There was the Greer upset and that's it. Nobody wants to see a card full of mismatches anymore, and we're certainly not going to pay for them once other platforms and PPV return.

Just made a bad card even worse. It was probably a false positive case anyway

Only nerd type is you complaining about some free fights. You think all the champions right now started off fighting on Showtime and HBO championship boxing or what you are an idiot and the true definition of a fanboy.

Acting like there is so much competition at the moment to choose from and there are other fights on Tuesdays and Thursdays that you can watch. If you don't like it don't watch it but don't sit back and complain because you sound like a *****.

Fighters got to start somewhere guys like this are the problem with boxing you think stars are just born overnight no buddy some have to be built up the hard way and win impressive fights on television to continue to earn slots.

You seem like the kinda guy who is ok watching whatever BS Arum and Haymon throw at you. Fighters' got to start somewhere??? What does that even mean??? The Top Rank stable is large enough to have more even matchups. My problem is they are marketing this crap as "big time boxing". If you don't have a problem with it, then that's on you. But most of us have better things to do than watch a card full of lopsided fights. The s**t ratings are evidence of that. You sniveling little b i tc h!!
