Given the 'standstill' is boxing at the moment every fighter is having to wait. There is a massive backlog of fights waiting and others planned that will maybe not take place at all. Diilian has been waiting a long time but will certainly have to wait longer as everyone else. To keep his name in there it might be a good idea for him to fight Usyk who is looking to complicate matters with his shot just because he was the champion at a lower weight and has not proved himself with the big boys yet. Whyte would do himself and a lot of fans a favour by making this fight.

This. People on here saying Whyte ain't any good. He may be the best hw, and Fury is definitely afraid of fighting himComment

Long term, it might be better to clear the decks first;
Fury v Wilder 3 and the winner fights Whyte.
Joshua v Pulev and the winner fights Usyk.
Then the two finalists for undisputed, hopefully with a more manageable mandatory schedule.
What do you think?Comment

I totally understand you, however if Joshua and Fury are doing a two fight deal the WBO will strip the winner within a month and we're back to square one.

Fury and Joshua are the clear #1 and #2 in the division, and the fight needs to happen to prove who's the best.
I can't believe that people are complaining about this tbh.
Unifications trump mandatories, and that's a good thing imo. It would be more understandable if the abc rankings were fair, but they're not.Comment

We can't deny that as things stand, a unification between Fury and AJ is/will be a huge money spinner all round.
Tbh, I'm not even Interested in a 2 fight series with Fury and AJ. First and foremost it's a unification I want to see. If that's between Fury and AJ then brilliant, 2 English lads.. once the first fight is done and if there's a winner then I'm not that fussed about fight 2 unless the first is a stonker but I'm not convinced it will be...
Ideally for me, Wilder can't get fit and the association's tell Pulev to fight Whyte with the winner taking on a unified Fury/AJ..Comment

Whoever ends up undisputed won't hold all the belts for very long, nobody does.

Klitschko kept his belts for eons, Lennox and Tyson for decent spells...it can be done.
If my sums are correct, we'd only have the WBA outstanding. Plenty of room for big fights.Comment

Not even complaining dude, just trying to see a situation where we have an undisputed champion for a decent amount of time.

I also agree with Bunch Pag, it would be nice if a winner of Whyte-Pulev could fight a unified Fury/AJ.Comment

Totally get you pal and others that call for something similar. I'm just In a state of things gone/going stale within the division. Maybe it's me, maybe it's just a lack of boxing for everyone..

Trouble is, these 2 fight deals seem to be the way things are done these days and for me are a factor in the division going stagnant as well as championships getting broken up.Comment

Fury and Joshua must fight at least twice to find out who is better. I don`t even care about belts.Comment
