    Finding Weight

How come someone 5'5 want/desire to be a heavyweight? You have all the physical advantages an certain techniques just work better, as well as just having overall better genetics. How can someone so short and light 52kg find the right weight class? This makes it extremely difficult to find a promoter to get fights let alone a debut. Fighting at flyweight and those other lighter weights is bs

You will never be a Heavyweight at that height, drop that idea. How old are you? You may yet fill out a bit and gain a few more lbs. If you put on another 5kg and you would be between the Featherweight and Lightweight limits. Even 5kg is a lot of weight, almost 10% weigh increase from 52kg. That isn't a bad place to be, some great fighters in those weight classes. Study fighters like Roberto Duran, Willie Pep, Marco Antonio Barrera, Juan Manuel Marquez, Prince Naseem. Don't obsess so much over Heavyweights.

what does age have to do with it? Promoters like heavyweights. They produce a higher pay and they have every single advantage. The problem being that short is one, its very demoralising. Mike tyson was what, 5'10,5'11, james toney was 5'10. Dwight was 5'71/2? Guys like marquez ate punches, all these guys or born with natural talent. Im not, I'm a dog, a grinder, a hard worker. Its unfair and it makes my skin crawl. You suggest putting on 5kg but then retract it...
