Natural thing that can be slightly supplanted by proper form, training, etc.

Looks don't tell you anything about how hard a man can punch. Some very muscular guys can't hit hard and some guys who are not muscular hit very hard. It comes down to how fast they can throw the blows and how much body weight they can put into the punches. Fast hands and proper punching form does the trick and he had both.

It came from the boxing gods. The gods had a little too much to drink that day so they gave him way too much. Then they decided he must also have boy band dance moves and be annoying af.

Ligament/tendon flexibility/strength and speed. He'd increase the range of the punch at the last moment at the shoulder joint.

It wasnt from his thick legs, because his feet were off the ground when he threw.

So where did his power come from? Did he lift weights? Have good leverage/technique? Or was his training method unique in developing his power?
This might sound off but I know someone close to him back when he was active, they were of the same heritage. Naz use to come and visit us in brick lane back then, he swear that Naz had Yemeni Voodoo placed in both his hands, that all he needs to do was land on his opponents. How far is the truth in that? I really cannot tell you.

Hamed was a freak. He looked like he shouldn't be able to crack an egg, but had dynamite in both fists.

I think you're born with it.
