Ortiz was for 2nd mandatory which is the the most ridiculous thing ever especially as Ortiz had just been knocked out and would not even have been eligible to be in a mandatory coming off a KO loss. Whyte accepted and was due to be PPV at the O2 in London but Ortiz refused and wanted it to be on the undercard of Wilder vs Fury. Ortiz has repeatedly ducked Whyte and Whyte accepted the fight even though Wilder refused to fight Whyte afterwards and told him that he would make him wait for two years which is exactly what happened.
Pulev fight was won with a purse bid by Epic Sports/Gotsev but they didn't have the money to pay for the fight and wanted DAZN to pay for a fight even though they hadn't yet launched. You can't duck a fight that was never going to happen as the promoters couldn't afford to put it on. What a duck as well to go and fight Joseph Parker. What a coward.
Fury ducked Whyte and point blank refused to fight him when offered the Diamond belt. Tyson is still ducking Whyte till this day! Fury is on video ducking Whyte and even made up a BS excuse that he was only trolling and went and fought Tom Schwarz instead.
The offer to fight AJ at short notice on a 8% split of the purse at Wembley Stadium with a smaller slice of the rematch if he won was never a real offer. It was an open secret that it was always Hearn and AJ's intention to fight in the US due to the DAZN money. This was clear once they realised there was no chance that Wilder was going to come to the UK for the undisputed fight. If they were in any way serious about Whyte fighting in April they would have made the offer well in advance for what would have been the biggest fight on UK soil. You don't make a fight of that magnitude at short notice and the offer was clearly BS.Comment

Ortiz wrote the cheque with his mouth but didn't want to cash it.Whyte turning down title eliminators and title shots is a relevant defense to his “I’m so screwed” argument.
I’m not arguing about how deserving other contenders are or the quality of other final eliminators. Whyte refused multiple final eliminators, so this is all on him.
How ballsy of Whyte to try to force Ortiz into a fight a couple months after a knockout loss. Why don’t you point out all the times Whyte turned down Ortiz, such as the time he refused to fight Ortiz three months after the Conjanu fight you mentioned.
The WBC are screwing Whyte, I don't see why you find it so hard to recognise that.
Making lowly ranked Breazealle and Molina eliminator retrospectively after telling reporters it wasn't.
Making up an eliminator for 'second mandatory' against a guy who had just got his title shot and got KTFO. This mandatory still wouldn't have happened for Whyte yet.
As soon as there was an opportunity they mandated the Fury rematch even though the fight was already made and Fury had already turned down mandated immediate rematch and the Diamond belt with Dillian also facing no eliminators.Comment

you deserve to be shot for lying the way you are. seriously, i hate people who blatantly twist the truth in this disgusting way.
1) ibf is irrelevant here, we're talking about the wbc and WILDER
2) yes, ortiz vs whyte was ordered as a 'final eliminator' but the winner was not guaranteed the mandatory spot
We will welcome that [Whyte-Ortiz] and do a final elimination for the second mandatory, while we address Breazeale," Sulaiman told Sky Sports.

3) why was ortiz even in the mix? he had his chance? furthermore whyte openly said he will happily take the fight as long as he's guaranteed in writing he gets the mandatory spot.
no guarantee came...
derp
4) the pulev fight would have been in bulgaria ..and whyte would have got 25%? gtfo
but he boxed JOSEPH PARKER instead? parker is a bigger name than pulev..with more money on the table..and in fact that fight is Whyte's biggest name.
total no brainer of a fight for Whyte.
you absolute cu*t
i can't believe the **** im reading.Comment

Another fake news Haymon groupie posting the half truth
It was ortiz and pbc that ensured the Whyte fight did not progress, not how this fake news poster only posted the fight had been ordered but left our actually what happened during negotiations
The same way pbc ensured ortiz would not fight joshua was the same way they did so Whyte would not as they didn’t want Whyte knocking wilder outComment
