If I was Wilder I'd do exactly that, he can save face that way.

I'm sure PBC can spin some way to drag Ortiz out of the retirement home for the trilogy match, my friends at the LDBC would sell that to the US casuals as being a bold move by Brother Deontay.

If Wilder fights Fury again unless he lands a fluke lucky punch then he loses, Fury has proven he is just far superior, obviously Wilder does have that punch which has bailed his useless ass out on multiple occasions so you can't entirely rule him out.

I doubt he even takes the 3rd fight tbh, he knows that Fury will always be his daddy.

Expect him to fake an injury a couple of weeks before the fight.
kind of a silly statement dude. Wilder connected 2x in the first fight to drop him and if fury isn’t focused and plays to many games in the ring with wilder, it could cost him. As far as wilder faking an injury, no chance. He does and always has believed in himself.

Wilder fought the very worst version of Fury and still got schooled.

When the real version showed up in the second fight, he got demolished. Fury ate Wilder's shots in that second fight.

Yes, Wilder can always land something big to end a fight, and i agree that if Fury isn't focused, it could spell trouble.

However Fury is nowadays a consummate professional, and isn't ****** enough to not take Wilder seriously.

Wilder has a punchers chance, nothing more. Fury is levels above him.

Wilder used to believe in himself before Fury put an absolute savage beating on him, now who knows what he believes. Personally i think he's completely mentally destroyed, nobody has seen him for months, he's probably hiding in his Alabama mansion crying himself to sleep every night.

Now he’s already signed a contract for Joshua(!?) holding the pen with his open palm floppy glove while programming the robot with the other?!? No matter what the new Karate Tyson bandwagon riders say, Wilders definitely no push over, unless of course the next ref allows Fury to get away with murder all over again....
I agreed with everything you were saying up till I read the last paragraph
You Wilder Fan boys find every excuse in the book to justify why Deontay lost

The real version of Fury is the one that showed up in the first fight. That's the same Fury that fought and beat Klitsko. The Fury that beat Wilder in the second fight may very well be the NEW version but Fury isn't known as a killer up until that fight so it kills me to see people saying that was the real version. New and real are 2 different things.

Either way I expect a good version of both fighters in the trilogy and hope its fireworks all across the board.

The Fury that showed up in the first fight had been out of the ring for 3 years and had recently beat a drug and alcohol addiction and lost 10 stone, and that's the real version of Fury?

Fury was visibly in miles better shape & healthier for the rematch, did you even watch the fights?

                    Sit down pal.

Wilder and his fans need to stop it with these kind of statemements

Wilder was the one bleeding out of his ears in the last fight and I'm not being funny but that's not something that's supposed to be happening is it.

His corner need to be ready with that towel again
