Would Mikey vs Spence rematch be a close fight? Mikey stated he wants the rematch.

I rewatched the fight this morning and trying to figure out why Mikey wants a rematch.

Anyone have any guesses? Could it possibly be a close fight this time around?

No reason for a rematch he was beaten so soundly the first fight, move on no need to revisit a one sided win.

Hell no. Spence threw 1100 punches and landed 400 of them. Mikey threw 370 punches and landed 70 of them. That is about the most one sided punch count you will ever see. Spence won every round by a mile. Spence has his number and even if he is only half as good as he was before the car crash he would still beat the hell out of Mikey again. Who would want to see another one sided mismatch in which Mikey only fought to go 12 rounds and never took the slightest risk. Let Mikey earn a rematch by beating Crawford or Porter but of course he can't beat them either. Mikey is a very good 135 and 140 pound boxer but not good enough or strong enough to beat the best 3 or 4 welterweights and especially not Spence who cleaned his clock big time.

In regards to why Mikey would want a rematch it would because any fight with Spence in it is a very big money fight and Mikey gets paid no matter how badly he gets beat.

          Where'd you rewatch?
Mikey thinks Spence is damaged goods after the crash- that's the only reason I can think of...If spence is back and better or near peak form as before- he hurts Mikey even worse. He was just outboxing Mikey. In a rematch he'd finish him. Mikey should drop to 140 and take out guys down there. He's gonna make the same mistake Broner made by fighting at 147 and fighting the elite at 147.

Mikey Garcia is a con artist leeching off the Mexican boxing fanbase.

I respect the heck out of Mikey but I prefer not to watch him like John Ruiz. Don't get me wrong, him and his brothers are cool and they are epitomes of sacrificing it all for the American dream. But too basic, just one two.
