Comments Thread For: Frank Sanchez: I've Asked To Fight Michael Hunter; All I've Heard Is Crickets

Some established heavyweights view Michael Hunter as too much of a high-risk, low-reward type of opponent. You could categorize Frank Sanchez the same way. Sanchez's solution is for them to fight each other. "I've asked for Mike Hunter and all I've heard is crickets from Eddie Hearn and Hunter," Sanchez told BoxingScene.com. "Eddie says he has a problem, that he pays fighters too much and they don't want to fight anyone. Well, with what he pays, I will fight anyone. Like I've said previously, give me Hunter, Joe Parker, Efe Ajagba, Junior Fa, anyone. I will prove my ability in a big fight."

Nice list for where he is currently - Hunter, Joe Parker, Efe Ajagba, Junior Fa, all good fights.

A proper motive - “I have already fought on major TV with PBC, and I feel very blessed,” Sanchez said. “But the job is not finished. I want to prove that I am the best and become the first heavyweight champion in the history of Cuba. That is the reason I am anxious to fight other top contenders and separate myself. I will become champion for my family and everyone who believed in me.”

Dude's good for the sport. War Sanchez

Sanchez vs. Breazeale would be a good fight! PBC should bless us with Ruiz vs. Kownacki! Slugfest! Would like to see Ajagba vs. Helenius, and Ortiz vs. Martin! MAN UP!

I personally would like to see the Ajagba fight above all those. I think it's a good fight for both guys at this stage in their careers. Still plenty of time and motivation to come back from a loss.

Every one of those fights sound fun to see. Good call on that list.

I don’t think Eddie and his dazn masters have the money right now.

I would pick Sanchez but no one blames Michael Hunter for looking elsewhere.

Hunter is on a very short list of non-mandatory opponents who have a chance to fight Anthony Joshua. He’s not risking that for a no-win situation against Sanchez.
