They just can’t accept it. These are the same people that wake up every day and spend half their day or more talking about and hating on other people who are far more successful than them, instead of focusing on making themselves happy and improving their own lives. It’s a sad situation. They need help.

Pacquiao beat Thurman so his fans want that to make him better than Floyd.

But he's not. He still lost head to head against Floyd.

There are good boxing fans who happen to like or love Pacquiao.

And, there are those who aren't really boxing fans at all. These guys mistake the pride they have for their countryman's accomplishments for some imagined expertise on the sweet science that they just don't possess.

The former group understand that Manny's greatness doesn't depend on comparing him to any one else. They readily acknowledge some of the careful matchmaking and catchweights as something all fighters do and celebrate how much excitement Pacquiao brought to the sport.

The latter group will tell you he is the best of all time even in the face of proof he was likely the 3rd best of his era head to head, and swear all of his opponents were in their prime and uncompromised when Manny fought them, again in the face of proof to the contrary.

It's just too bad there's a lot more of one of these groups than the other...

Pac beating thurman is better than anything Floyd did. Being 41 and beating natural WW, undefeated young lions definitely makes it a better win than anything on floyd resume. But we don't want that to make Pac better. Pac s whole resumes better. Beating common opponents better, common opponents saying Pac would have beat floyd in prime and even jmm who koed pac says pac s better. There comes a point when you've just got to admit it. If foreman, rjj and bh can admit it so can you and i. Even though I hate it. I d rather they said Hatton was the best. I know I would

Yes Floyd got decision over pac, but that don't make Floyd better, not even h2h. Jc beat bh but ain't better also. Turpin in beat srr but ain't better. Douglas beat .tyson but ain't better.
You know this. But Floyd beating Pac makes you feel good we can see that

The thing is flood bear a still extremely good pac, good enough to beat Thurman four years later easily winning almost every round and that’s why it burns them they anticipated some close back and forth war after five years of build up but what they got was a boring one sided domination and it broke their collective hearts the funny thing is as much as they they hate floyd he went on holiday to the Philippines after beating pac and was recorded like a good by the people of the Philippines. They really a lot on the internet but did **** all in real life

                    See what I mean?

They desperately want the win over Thurman to mean that Pac is better than Floyd. But he's not.

Exactly. Ward was better and the #2 man after Floyd. He just didn't have the profile and thus the incredible things he was doing in the sport got overlooked.
