I've been trashing Wilder for a long time but anyone who couldn't see he was flat footed and lacked his usual mobility right from the start, are idiots. Maybe the costume contributed maybe it didn't, but he definitely had an injury coming into that contest, he mentioned it after the fight (said his leg was wrecked I think) and to me it was clear as day.

making excuses was embarrassing but being honest about the situation now that the dust has settled would go a long way to repairing his damaged reputation.

how can you tell though? he lost every round to ortiz and a bunch of rounds to spilzka and washington. how can you differentiate him being injured and him just sucking?
