I get the sentiment behind why *** exists, but in reality it's a bunch of white people that give that movement any teeth. UK boxing fans have always been so unified in supporting their various home-grown fighters ... regardless of race. It's a bit sad to see you mates splintering now with the racism topics dominating the world. Understandable I guess.

The thing is, every fighter has family and friends that make up their background and share experiences that helped shape who they've become. Sports is something we all do as kids, and compete between various groups we all belong to: age, size, gender, race, rich/poor, wrong side of tracks / right side of tracks.

When our best emerge from all of the local competitions they become rallying points for people of all backgrounds. They become unifiers in rallying us all to root for them, with country of origin being a point of unifying pride.

Part of why sports are great is because we get to put down the other points of contention we have in life, and root for something and someone together. That's a fabulous thing, but the fighters themselves are still people. No one should deny or harshly judge any of them for continuing to care and remember the plights of their closest people and families ... and sometimes speak to such. It should help us all care more for others ... rather than become an issue that poisons our enjoyment of sport.

I admire that the UK always seemed to have more compassion and understanding for their athletes than we do here in the USA. Seemed like you guys "got it". Race has always been a big hirdle in America. The difference between AJ's popularity/income at home compared to Wilder's here is a testimonial to it. You guys have always been bigger than the race issues it seemed.

Race has always kept the income/standard of life "playing fields" handicapped against the demonstrated talent and abilities of many people here, and many fight hard not to let it go, even as many black people have overcome the barriers. Some are desparate for the old status quos, thus the obvious law enforcement transgressions and outward racist behavior. Sad for us.

I hope you continue to be bigger and better in the UK.

We did not stab Poland in the back, there was just no way to help them due to logistics (look at a map).

We should not have made peace with Germany (Churchill knew Hitler was not to be trusted, look what they did to Poland, our ally, after they said they wouldn't attack them)

I just watched Darkest Hour recently..... and also Netflix's 'World War 2 in color about the battle of Britain.

Churchill is a ****ing hero, and his words will remain powerful forever.
