Should we back this Wright-Quartey Dec 2 fight?

I'm still undecided as to whether or not I want to see it, but it seems like the best fight to be made since Wright already turned down a Taylor rematch, and Calzaghe has said nothing about fighting Wright. Quartey deserved the win over Forrest so he should fight Wright before Forrest gets that slot. I guess I'm in favor of it, what about you all?

I love any of the fights with Winky if its Forrest, Quartey, or Ouma. I think they all would be great fights even though Im still skeptical of Ouma.

They all have there flaws and are not fighting on the highest level right now but they would all be very solid fights in which a upset "could" happend.

I disagree with you about Calzaghe. Calzaghe has never said anyting about Winky. Winky is the one who was talking all the stuff about Calzaghe before & in the post fight after Taylor but then he comes straight after a small guy in Floyd and since then has only talked about fights against 154 pounders or smaller. I dont think he ever had any intention of fighting Calzaghe

How can you say that like Ike's beefs havent been legitimate? You could say that you still think he lost those fights but alot if not most think Ike won alot of those fights

Quartey/DLH ...close but DLH deserved the win because of the 12 round explosion by the golden boy.

Vargas/Quartey...another close one but Vargas clearly won. Ike won a few rounds but i had it 8-4 Vargas.

Forrest/Quartey...tricky one, but i actually watched this fight again and after watching it a second time i actually do have Forrest winning by a point. At the very least this fight was a draw. Ike was aggressive coming forward but he was not throwing a whole lot. He only appeared the aggressor because he kept moving forward, he was not doing any damage. No way Ike was robbed.

Maybe because the winner isnt always the winner? Most people think Ike won. However I wouldnt care either way because I would also love to see Winky fight Forrest and maybe even moreso. I think Vernon may have the better chance of winning against Winky
