Comments Thread For: Thurman On Injured Hand: I Still Have Yet To Hit The Bag 100 Percent

Of all the various injuries Keith Thurman has suffered during his career, his healing left hand has become the most troublesome. Nine months after Thurman underwent surgery to fuse metacarpal bones in his jab hand, the former WBA/WBC welterweight champion still cannot fully use it in the gym. There's no timetable for Thurman's first fight since suffering his lone loss to Manny Pacquiao because he still cannot train at full strength.

Am not sure why you guys think Crawford beats Thurman..if Thurman comes in motivated and in great shape, I 'll actually favor him over Crawford. Crawford hasn't really been tested. Name me one elite puncher Crawford has faced and we all know Keith can box and can also crack and Crawford chin is hella suspect. It is no whitewash like most of you think, 50-50 fight at worst. Crawford is actually the better match up for Thurman. Spence maybe all wrong for him as I can see a similar fight like Brook where Thurman rattles him early and Spence come on strong late. But with Crawford, they are both there to tussle till the end

Terrance would turn Thurman into golf caddy, lost and unable to find his way around a golf course...After Pac knocked Keef down with a jab, can't imagine the damage P4P #1 would do, possibly permanent medical damage for sure...

            Thurman should just retire.

Thurman aint consistent and losing to Manny showed that. He was letting Manny take off rounds then steal them back with Flurries.

That's not gonna fly with Crawford/Spence and Porter who i think would win in a rematch. ( if he isnt 100%

But thats kinda the point.... Does 100% even exist anymore with tbis guy?

One-time used to mean he would fight 0ne-time a year now it means he loses One-time and he retires. This guy has held the belt the longest in history without even defending it. What a joke.

Problem is, if he fought Keith you could still argue he hasn’t been in with an elite puncher.

I do actually like Thurman as a fighter and thought he was a ****er early in his career. But he caught manny flush with some beautifully timed right hands and never had him in any real trouble.

I think Spence, and Crawford murder him to the body by the way.
