Froch’s record speaks for itself and he is a legend. He used his attributes well and achieved a lot in this sport. He didn’t get gimme fights. He should have lost to Andre Dirrell yes but he faced the best of his era apart from Calzaghe who ran away for obvious reasons.

Joe could never beat Froch. Everyone knows Joe had brittle hands which is why he pulled out of many fights. Froch has a solid chin while Joe thrived on a high output of shots. Froch would get to him and annihilate him as the fight progressed. Joe wasn’t ******, he knew he was no match and the embarrassment would be huge so he backed off. There was money in the pot for that fight and remember Joe was making peanuts until he left Frank Warren.Let's face it....had Joe busted up Froch all those years ago...Froch wouldn't have had anywhere near the career he ended up with. He got his opportunities because Joe left the division. I expect Carl is angling for a fight that the public would buy...but it's 2 old timers ala Green/Mundine. Joe has more class than all three of those guys put together and I'm glad he's happy in retirement. Better to be rich healthy and hold the last laugh than let ego line the pockets of those not worth it.Comment

Calzaghe unified the 168 Ibs division.
Froch got beat likes pińata by Ward.
Calzaghe beat an undefeated Kessler.
Froch got beat by Kessler and had to win the rematch by fighting at home.Comment

46-0. Read it an weep Carl.
Must be tough when you've got a bloke eating away at you inside your head. Living with your thoughts day and night.. Especially a bloke with the ego the size of Carl's.
Let it go Carl, it's not good for you.Comment

Bltchkin never pulled anyones hoe card, EVER
ran around for YEARS promising to fight anyone from 154-168
but then killed FOUR HUGE fights over weight LMAO
demanding 166 for Froch, shows just how badly G feared Andre Ward by demanding 164Comment

By now you should know styles make fights and the triangular theory doesn’t work in boxing.Comment

Calzaghe and Froch were both excellent
both are over-achievers, Froch even more-so than Calzaghe... but the welshman will go down as the better fighter
Froch was a nightmare... Taylor Kessler Groves, all thought they had him beatComment
