Exactly my point. I don't know how they would sell that fight let alone Mikey not really being THAT big of a name to the casual public for him to want a huge guarantee.

I still think we see mikey vs manny and Spence vs danny. I could also see pac fighting Crawford and wbc elevating Spence to franchise champion if he isn't going to be ready before the end of the year. The wbc could sanction mikey vs danny for the wbc title.

How come the other WW King’s aren’t begging for Manny? Crawford has guts compared to Spence

Can anyone confirm Pacquiao's status with the PBC? From my understanding his contract was a 2 fight deal with an option for a 3rd which PBC would get 1st crack at? I DO know Manny signed with a Sports Management company that apparently Al and team have to go through to negotiate anything dealing with Manny.

thats the big question....because many seemed to think pac/mikey on dazn was going to be next....so not sure of his exact status

touching on an earlier reply of yours...the "crawford is on the wrong side" stuff still made sense when said...because he has been on the wrong side...and crawford had an easy path to pac before pac left top rank.....and they didnt even try to make the fight and capitalize....as soon as pac left and beat thurman all of the sudden the fight made sense to them? strange how that works.....but the deal is going to have to be very sweet for pac to go see crawford...especially if haymon has anything to say about it

Crawford "seems" like he's becoming a front runner for Pacquiao which would really be the irony of all hell when the talk has been "Crawford's on the Wrong Side". For Manny as well, that would be some major cojones move considering how hungry Crawford is for a big fight.
that talk was applicable at the time...and may still be really

you have to remember when the "wrong side" talk was....pac was still at TR and TR and arum showed 0 interest in making pac/bud...like none....even commented on how he didnt want to do it

so all the big WW names were at the pbc...and crawford had nothing big to look at

now after pac leaves and beats one of the big pbc ww names theyre all of the sudden interested? i mean...i get it...but they didnt think crawford fighting him was cool back then before pac left...they thought it was a mismatch that might make them look bad...until he beat thurman

If Spence wants Pac then why is he talking about and all but confirmed to fight Danny Garcia next. Shouldn't he be trying to make a fight next with Pac right now just like Crawford?

Manny beating Thurman gave Manny a "2nd lease on life" as it concerns being able to snag another big payday that I don't think Bob thought he was worth at the time. Manny's PPVs plummeted following the Floyd fight and even HBO didn't cover the Jessie Vargas fight. Manny I recall wanted X amount of dollars that didn't make sense with Crawford still being sorta unknown in the grand scheme and trying to make a PPV out of that fight. Granted, WE would've definitely watched but Pacquiao was asking for something in the realm of what I think he ended up walking away with against Thurman.

It really comes down to who can afford Manny and what fight makes $$$ sense across the board. This is Bob's chance to get Crawford the fight he's been asking for and he shouldn't expect anything dramatically less than what Manny made vs Thurman obviously considering the restrictions with the pandemic & potential of no fans.
