I'm not gonna make an exact prediction right now, and Fury with his size and skills is one of the toughest heavyweights to beat in boxing history, but I'll say... this is gonna be the most motivated Deontay Wilder we've ever seen in a ring. Sometimes a fighter needs to take an embarrassing loss to unleash his full potential.

This is a good question and in theory opens a can of worms because many Fury diehards and Wilder haters swear that Wilder is a bum.... if Wilder performs better than the first fight and then knocks him out. Then what does that say about Wilder if many Fury diehards claim Tyson is the GOAT.Comment

Well it’s only agreed in principle
But it’s boxing who knows what might happen. either or both guys could lose their next fight. All it takes is a cut or an injury To lose the title and there might be no unification.
We saw what happened when AJ and his team were looking towards a fight with Wilder, he ended up getting levelled by Ruiz. before that fight people would’ve put Ruiz and Pulev on a similar level, so there’s no guarantees Fury beats Wilder or AJ beats Pulev
That said, it’s pretty likely both guys win their next fights, so it’s much better to have a deal in principle than start negotiations for a huge fight later.Comment

I wonder if Fury's talk is mind games aimed at dismissing/disrespecting Wilder, or just genuine excitement at the thought of two UK champions fighting. Either seem possible.
But I don't pay too much attention until contracts are signed.Comment
