I believe belts are only as good as the person you beat for the belt! Jermall Charlo has a belt...so what! Devin Haney has a belt...so what! Terence Crawford has a belt...so what! These are just a few examples. Then when you have all these belts, you get trapped fighting mandatories that no one wants to see, and the champions do not want to fight! The IBF and the WBO are two of the worst! Just go through their list of #1 contenders in all weight classes, if they have one! Who knows these folks? Even hardcore fans don't know half of these cats! How does the IBF have multiple weight classes without #1, nor #2 ranked contenders?

Because there’s a set procedure for scheduling fights for rankings with the IBF, they don’t just hand them out like the other organisations

Unfortunately fighters are too happy to drop IBF eliminator fights in favour of others, even less lucrative ones sometimes, as the IBF have strict weigh in rules etc that other bodies don’t have

What the IBF is doing is right, but promoters aren’t going to follow the rules if they don’t have to, and especially with the WBC and often with the WBA, they don’t have to

😄 dont know how this guy is ranked number 2. Every time he steps up in competition alittle he loses. He gets way to many chances to get himself a position at a title shot. He had his chance against Joshua and he stood there like a dummy and didn't throw any punches. Nobody wants to see him

At best, Martin is a C level club fighter who should be featured on ESPN at 8pm on Tuesday nights. He has no right to be making any demands. Hopefully he can fight Whyte and get knocked out so we don't have to see him or hear his name anymore.
