Canelos team knows plant is a dangerous fight. That's why they tried to get him on short notice and get everything in their favor. And is also why they never really considered plant in serious negotiations. Canelo always takes the easy way out. GGG beat him the first time, erislandry Lara beat him and could even make the case Austin trout beat him. Canelo gets gifts decisions and has trouble against boxers, that's why he avoids fighting them.

Yep, the kovalev fight was definitely scripted. Kovalev was trying his best not to hurt Clenero. When theirs a Clenero fight, their will be always something fishy IMO.

This match up is interesting.

I like this fight completely, but I prefer Caleb Plant to fight more 2 years stepping the competition and improving more than we saw of him and then a clash with Saul Canelo Alvarez after Canelo fought his fights in this period of time. I feel a more improve Caleb Plant have a big to fair chance to upset Canelo. Right now in 2020, I feel Saul Canelo winning against Caleb Plant in a competitive fight.
