The only way this fight happens is if it's accurate Oscar really doesn't have a say. Don't be fooled by the delusional fans who swear Canelo is on par with Ray Robinson and washes plant as if he's rocky fielding. This is a dangerous fight and plants style is a big problem for Canelo.

God knows... that’s a shocking fight.

I assume they just view it as a keep busy fight during the pandemic but it’s a pointless fight IMO.

I agree man, I rate Plant pretty highly, I think he is possibly the #1 guy at 168 based on the eye test. Stylistically, I think this is a tough fight for Canelo.

Sounds like Plant is psyching himself out with the back and forth conversation in his head. Maybe he'll continue to show improvements but I don't really get the hype around him considering his only notable opponent is Uzcategui whose limited come forward style should be tailor made for a guy advertised as slick and elusive. Although Plant had good stretches in that fight, it was overall an inconsistent performance especially in the second half when he was looking gassed and off balance while getting caught flush with too many winging shots. Dude makes Canelo's stamina look like that of a Kenyan runner.

I was literally gonna say that. I could see him “losing” by decision if you get what I mean. It feels like any close round will go Canelo’s way.
