You’re the idiot. You don’t know how hard you can make your wraps. Trinidad was cheating. He never showed the same power after because they kept an eye on him.

Anyone that has been around boxing long enough can see Trinidad’s power is not natural. Most of the devastation is due to how hard his fists were. Not Mcclellan, not anyone was hitting like Trinidad.

Now go ahead and flip flop. First you said the wrapped were loaded which is not the case now he made wraps harder by the way it was wrapped. Hmmm should I take the word of the coach who was there who is the one who made him rewrap in the first place. ****m himself explains that the way Trinidad wraps his hands is legal almost everywhere including Vegas but not New York. **** there's video of Richardson explaining it and even an article of him explaining it. Teddy Atlas himself talks about it, but no ima take some random pac jock sniffing posters word for it instead of people who were there.

You’re clueless. Illegal wraps = loaded. ****m and Bouie Fisher didn’t see Trinidad’s wraps, because it was already wrapped when they got there. Something Hopkins said team Trinidad did often, and that he could cite one other occasion for a “Fact”. ****m said Trinidad’s wrap felt as hard as a rock and Bouie said it was as heavy as a camera(this is the wrapped hand they found, which they never saw the process of). Fisher obviously thought Trinidad was a cheater

I talked to William Joppy before his last fight and he brought up an issue that Trinidad's people wrapped Tito's hand illegally and that is why he lost. He said that your people caught Trinidad illegally wrapping his hands. Can you tell us what happened?

        Bouie Fisher:
I tell you, Ike. They have been getting away with that for a long time. I sent my people to Trinidad's locker room to make sure everything was right. When they got there they came back to me and told me that Trinidad's left hand was wrapped before they got there. So, I had to go over to his dressing room myself, this is my business and I have been doing it for over 50 years. When I got there I told them to unwrap the hand and do it over because we need to see the hand being wrapped. They refused to unwrap the hands so I told them I guess the fight will not happen then, we can reschedule to another date. The officials came in and said we don't have time to do this over. I told them, well we must do this right or no fight. They know the rules, no tape on the skin or tape on the ankle. His left hand was heavy just like your camera. Guess what, the officials then said you can go and wrap Bernard hands anyway you want. Trinidad's father and his people didn't want to make the change because they knew they cheated and they tried to cover it up by asking me to wrap Bernard's hands anyway we wish. I wasn't going for that, we have to do this right, they raised hell like you couldn't believe. I said you can do it your way, but there will be no fight if you don't do it right. They said we are going to leave it as it is, so I told them we can reschedule the fight untill next week. They didn't want to do that. This is why we had a delay coming out. When they saw Bernard they tried to ask us to take off just a little tape, but they had a half roll of tape on Trinidad's left hand. This is why people say he has a good left hook. David Reid paid a big price, Trinidad took away the fighter in him.
The only thing ****m and Bouie saw was the wrap Trinidad’s dad was willing to wrap when he actually had eyes on him.

NAAZIM RICHARDSON RESPONDS TO JOPPY'S COMMENTS ON TRINIDAD'S WRAPS: "IT AIN'T LIKE THE MARGARITO THING"
By Percy Crawford | June 10, 2014NAAZIM RICHARDSON RESPONDS TO JOPPY'S COMMENTS ON TRINIDAD'S WRAPS:

"Joppy always felt some kind of way about that and he said something to me about catching the thing with Tito. But the thing is this, Tito Trinidad deserves to be in the Hall of Fame because the way Tito got his hands wrapped was legal in other states. It wasn't legal in New York, but it was legal in other states," stated world-class trainer Naazim Richardson, who shared his thoughts on recents comments made by former middleweight champion William Joppy regarding Hall of Famer Felix "Tito" Trinidad. According to Joppy, Trinidad didn't deserve to be inducted into the Hall of Fame because he felt the multi-division champion used illegal hand wraps throughout his career.

It's an issue that had never been brought up until Trinidad faced future Hall of Famer Bernard Hopkins months after his dominant 5th-round stoppage of Joppy. Richardson found himself in the middle of a controversy prior to that fight when he noticed that the technique which Trinidad's father and trainer, Don Felix, used to wrap his hands was not in accordance with the rules of the New York State Athletic Commission. Though ultimately Trinidad was required to re-wrap his hands, Richardson clarified that at the time, the technique was still legal in several other states.

"If they said we were fighting him in New York, okay then, y'all have an argument, but they weren't talking about his hand wraps when they made the fight. So by them not making it an issue, because they fought him in New York too, he knocked you out, you gotta live with it," he explained. "See, the way Margarito was getting his hands wrapped, that **** was illegal in MMA and every other sport and in every state. I can see if William [Joppy] was making that argument about Margarito, but with Tito, he just tried to wrap his hands...it could be an honest mistake."

Richardson added, "The Tito thing I think was more of ignorance. It was the fact that they were used to wrapping his hands like that all the time and most of the places you fight, like Vegas and everything, it's cool to wrap like that. So when they came to New York, they didn't think nothing of it. They just wrapped his hands the way they always wrap his hands. Well, we working by and abiding by the rules of New York, so I argued the case. But it ain't like the Margarito thing where he was blatantly trying to pull one off. One was ignorance and one was illegal.

But it almost never happened because of you, right?
Yeah (laughs rolls eyes) Because of me (laughs). I was the one who wanted to see Trinidad's hands wrapped. I knew what the rules were and i wanted them followed. To me, Trinidads situation was much, much different then Margarito's situation. What Trinidad did was actually legal in some places. It just wasn't legal in New York. I had the rule book with me right there in my hand.

Styles make fights. Manny is vulnerable to right hand counter punchers which Trinidad wasn’t. Walking prime Manny down with a left hook isnt a good idea. I think Manny UDs Trinidad.

Trinidad via brutal KO. He was unbeatable at 147 and 154. He only lost to guys who were bigger and technically superior than him.

Tito KOs Manny around 7 or 8. Manny's "angles" have never stopped him from being hittable before, and against Tito's reach, power, and accuracy at 147, he's not suddenly gonna turn into a prime Whitaker in there. He's gonna try to dart in and out of Tito's range headfirst without getting clipped, and I have zero faith that he'd have the discipline to do that without taking shots that would slow him down (and stop him) in the process. There's a damn good reason why a prime (pre-fishnets) DLH did everything to AVOID a 147lb Trinidad for an entire third of their fight, and it's not because he needed the exercise.

I think some here are letting their favoritism cloud their judgement.

A guy thats going to beat Tito does not get roughed up by Horn, or go the distance with Rios Algieri level guys, or gets put on ice by LWs .

Only one guy on Mannys WW run was Titos level and in top form that was Floyd and he beat him and Floyds not as big as Tito, I dont want to hear about Oscar Mosley or Cotto , Drained Shot and CWs this is the smoke and mirror fans ignore, I dont believe Manny could beat those guys fair and square, no way can I see him beating Tito on a level playing field he is too small.
