In the last week, Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum and heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte have traded words in the press. Whyte holds the World Boxing Council's interim-title and he is the mandatory challenger to the WBC's full champion, Tyson Fury. Fury is contracted to fight Deontay Wilder in a trilogy fight, which is going to take place before the end of the year.

Whyte should just stay active and make money. What has happened isn't right but if I was him I'd press for a rematch with Joshua after Pulev fight is over. I don't see Joshua vs Fury or Wilder getting made anytime soon, not even after the trilogy. Or, he keeps backing Chisora over Usyk. He can fight the winner of that for a 1 million plus purse.

Wilder didn’t go this route. You thought the Wbc would make wilder the franchise champion and wilder flat out said he doesn’t want to be. Also Whyte wasnt the mandatory for a long time and wilder lost the belt before Whyte was mandated a shot. I’m pretty sure wilder would’ve smashed Whytes head feb 2021.
But on a lighter note I’m all for any situation that involves DillyAnn Whyte getting shïtted on 🤣
