So glad to see boxing back. Shakur is undoubtedly talented but we need to see him against real opposition before we label him the next anything. Lot's of talent in and around 130 and this kid does not appear to have a big punch. It's time for him to stop talking and start fighting the real talent.

Lol yup a current 126 lb champion who is not coming off a lay off should not be allowed to have fights like this. To me Shakur still hasn't fought anybody so can't measure how good he really is seems like TR is going to angle for the Robeisy rematch just like they did with Conlan and his olympic rival but if Shakur stays at 130 Herring it is.

              • Stevenson is very solid and is right on track in his career. I see him as the best of this young crop under 140lbs.

                • I liked watching Shakur's aggression in the fight. He's making me a fan. The comparisons to Mayweather can end already. I don't see them similar much at all. Shakur is very much his own self here.

If I have one complaint for Shakur is that his power might already be lacking at 130lbs. He was throwing vicious power shots nonstop and they barely did damage until eventually the body shot. With that considered, the amount that he left himself open and planting he did to throw those type of shots... you would have thought they were generating more power than they did. I think a better fighter will take advantage of that.

Who knows, but for now, let's say Shakur might be the real deal. He's hella young still so his body hasn't even matured yet.

If he is having these types of fights I would expect him to knock them out earlier and just demolish his opponents. If all the hype surrounding him is true. Look at the current great fighters and past ones too they all knocked out their opponents early on in their career.

                    • Shakur perfect body shot, you learned and perfected that shot when you hit the defense-less person on the ground in Miami, Shakur you are a punk beating on defense-less people.
