Crazy fight. Castillo never got enough credit for his skills, but heart won that night. It was great for boxing and nobody got hurt (at least short term)

Yeah, Goosen says, "You gotta ***in get inside on him now." Amazing 10th round, epic fight!

I loved both obviously but the climax of Corrales-Castillo 1 is what swings it for me.

          Pryor-Arguello 1 and Hearns-Leonard 1 are two other fights I love rewatching.

True Corrales-Castilll had the movie ending. Those 2 fights are great rewatches..... Can't go wrong with them.

What did it feel like to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat?

              or

What did it feel like to have it all taken away in dramatic fashion?

It was the only time I can recall where I was literally in shock. It took a while to snap out of it.

After Diego got up the second time and landed a couple of good shots, I saw a change in Castillo and then time moved in slow motion, like I knew exactly what was going to happen, I saw Castillo getting stopped before he got stopped, it was weird. After the fight got waved off, I just sat there staring at my TV in disbelief.

It took me a long time to watch that 10th round again, I felt Castillo got cheated with the extra time Diego got.

Actually, Acelino Freitas did this to Corrales in his fight prior to Castillo, and Corrales complained about it, and then he used the same tactic on Castillo.

Pacquiao-Marquez 4, Khan-Maidana, Matthysse-Molina. An under the radar one would be Coyle-Brizuela. There’s too many tbh.

                  You?

I was rooting for Diego but I wanted a good fight more than anything and boy did I get it.

The mouthpiece thing was genius as Diego knew he had a fighter in front of him just as battered as he was and an experienced ref who would understand it was a championship fight and go by the book. Sure enough, Weeks let the first mouthpiece incident serve as the first warning, then deducted a point the second time, then would deduct or disqualify the third time it happened. Diego never got that far to be DQed but the time he bought was invaluable and indicated an incredible understanding of his situation in the fight.

One of the best fights in the history of the sport and on the short list of "bouts you show a neophyte to make them fall in love with boxing".

I watched this fight because someone told me it was the best fight they ever saw. I watched it without knowing who would win and I didn't have a favorite because I had not seen either of them fight before. I thought the fight was epic, shocking, and indeed the best fight I ever saw
