Why don’t jabs cut these days? All the cuts today come from headbutts mostly accidental

fighters sharpen their defensive skills with better headgear. They do this over the span of more amateur fights than the old timers used to have. When they turn pro, they don’t fight as often.
Phone booth brawling is becoming a thing of the past.
All of these things add up to a less cut prone face.
