If you ask Warren and Arum, they would rather go for the
much bigger fight, which is the Joshua fight.
Finkel is too lazy to look for other options for Wilder while waiting.
With the trilogy he doesn't have to do anything.
Arum will do all the work for everybody, even though
    it's a co-promotional venture.

The same people supporting this are the same people who ho would never have said the same about joshua losing by tko to Ruiz. So we have to ask ourselves what are these hypocrites motivated by? Therein lies the revelation....

If Fury and Joshua fight I could see them doing it twice and maybe even a trilogy.

For that to happen Wilder and Pulev have to be out of the picture.

This is like Andre telling Anthony to stay down. Wait for them to wear each other out is not a goal, it's a wish. Fury says, he'll do the wearing out.

I agree with you but I dont think Aj would ever sign to fight fury without a rematch clause , so even if wilder take step aside money as long as he got the winner fury and aj wouldn’t be able to strike a deal because I am positive aj will want a rematch clause in the contract if he were to fight fury. Heck aj even wanted a rematch clause in his co tract when he fought Ruiz so no way is he fighting fury without that in his contract.

Wilder should step aside for that fight to happen and then face the winner. He will get a chance to win all the belts at one time. BUT Tyson Fury will beat both Joshua and Wilder. Too much speed, skills, and experience.

If Wilder wants to entertain AJ then he has to beat Fury, if he doesn't, he's finished as a big pawn in the division...

Wilder needs to win to stay significant. he will have had 3 bites of the cherry. if he doesn't then it's all eyes on Fury and AJ for the foreseeable.....
If Wilder stops AJ, the hype for the 3rd fight against Fury would be crazy.

In terms of what's right for Wilder, I think Paulie is spot on with this.
