For the record, Lomachenko said he would unify then go back to a more natural weight, maybe 130.

Loma already won the WBC. IBF would be full unification. He should still fight Haney but not for the secondary belt

Not sure how it works with the WBC belt. He already won it by beating Campbell, then the WBC 'promoted' him to 'franchise' champion so that the belt went back in play and ended up with Haney. So in reality its only the IBF to go before he's won all 4, but then technically he doesn't have the WBC one due to the WBC's chicanery, so is he technically unified after getting the IBF belt ? Would the regular belt even be on the line if he fought Haney ? Can he even (re)win the regular belt given he's the franchise champion ?

according to the wbc, a fighter can not become undisputed with the franchise belt. the franchise belt is a distinction or designation not a title. the holder of the franchise belt can not lose it in the ring or to an opponent. haney has the title belt, he can win it or lose it.

lopez does not become franchise champion if he beats loma. he won't be wbc champ either. so he won't be undisputed until he beats haney or whoever has the wbc title.

there will NEVER be a haney vs loma fight. haney will have 2 more fights at 35. probably fortuna and campbell or the winner of those 2 (if they fight each other ) and one other fight. then haney is up to 140. loma will have his big fight vs lopez. if he loses he goes back to 30. if loma wins his next big fight will be tank. sorry that's just how it goes

Loma would beat this kid. The only fighters down there that could possibly beat him are maybe Stevenson, but that would be a few years down the road. Or maybe a Berchelt , who could really outhuistle him and rough him up. I think he embarrasses LOpez, Tank, Russell again, and Haney. Garcia aint even ready for that level yet, But to me he has abetter chance than Tank and Lopez especially.

Arum said that Haney signed with the wrong promoter. He won't be getting that fight.

That's Bob's standard opening in every negotiation.
