Floyd doesn't get enough credit for how tough he actually was. I rate Floyd "All Time" higher between 130-140. I think he hangs with any of the top Welters historically but I have a tough time seeing him beat a Prime Leonard or Robinson who were just natural Welters with Boxing ability and power at that weight. Duran at 135 is probably the only guy I think that could beat Floyd at that weight as well. Beyond that though, I'd pick Floyd historically much of the time between 130-140.

ODLH, Maidana, Hatton, Castillo, JMM all live dogs, killers, quality wins.
Cats like Berto, Ghost, Ortiz, and Canelo were definitely soft touches and cherry picks.
Out of all the names above, I only picked ODLH and Maidana to possibly upset him, and that's on record. I laughed literally in peoples faces at the bar, and on here when cats would try and tell me Canelo had a chance. If you know boxing, you tend to get it right more often than not.

Nobody is finishing Floyd.
Not even Leonard or hearns.
I especially hate when people say Duran of all people would beat him. Duran quit to Leonard because he wouldn’t engage. You think Floyd is going to engage? Kill yourself.
It would be like the Benitez fight but worse because Floyd really isn’t going to even give him the thought that he can touch him.Comment

The fact that there are people who think Mayweather beats Leonard, Hearns or Durán makes him possibly the most overrated fighter of all time. The guy lost to Castillo.Comment

Fair enough. I'm not necessarily talking about you or any specific person I'm just speaking on those irrational bs types who'll backtrack what they said based on results that didn't fulfill their predictions. Floyd was one of their favs back in the day.ODLH, Maidana, Hatton, Castillo, JMM all live dogs, killers, quality wins.

I do think a lot of those hater types got hyped up on Canelo beating Floyd, even if you didn't, only to retroactively call him a cherry pick after he lost.Comment

Lesser fighters than Floyd have beaten them so you never know.
Floyd is a chance to beat ANYONE his size, and NOBODY smaller than him could beat him.
Thing is the best Floyd is really a 135 fighter, he was good enough to move 5 divisions but thats not his best, Hearns and Leonard are both a lot bigger than Mayweather, Leonard went to MW and Hearns went to 200lbs Cruiser weight , Floyd never been much over 150 and would have to give a lot away to them guys.
Be like saying Leonard cant beat MW Roy Jones.Comment
