In no way does black empowerment threaten me.....why does it them?Comment

I could show you examples of just average people making life good for themselves, in spite of their hurdles...... but it would just go to show that any one, with the right frame of mind, can make it.
My point about AJ, is, he has never been discriminated against because he is black, certainly not as na amatuer or pro boxer, and has benefited from the system.Comment

Respectfully, I would defer to joshua himself on whether he’s ever felt discriminated against because of his race. Obviously he felt strongly enough on the subject to protest against white supremacy to give a speech on the empowerment of his racial group within Britain. Often those who seek to discredit the message point out to individual wealthy black people as a means to challenge the concept of pointing out racism. As if the reality of wealthy blacks cancels out the concept of white racism.
See how easy it is to flip this shiat based on class, race and privilege.
I DO NOT care about AJ or his struggles... he wasn't beaten with belts growing up, like I was..... or had to live with an abusive father. He did not have to live with his grandparents and go through 4 years of an apprenticeship sleeping on a blow-up bed because of his abusive father...... he does not even come close to my personal life......
Sorry...... my life is not as priiliged as Joshua's.......
Edit: I also got my mum away from my abusive father and she has been living in my house for the last 5 years while their divorce is being settled......... got abused, escaped, got through my apprenticeship, got into the oil industry, got left my grandparents house, bought my brothers half out.... done it up..... now I am back sleeping on the floor while my mum gets a divorce (1bedroom and I won't let my mum sleep on a blow-up or pull-out couch)......# whiteprivilegeLast edited by Vinnykin; 06-07-2020, 03:24 PM.Comment

VADA were happy with Whyte's sample prior to the Rivas fight; it was UKAD who launched the investigation. This would suggest that UKAD (at least in this case) have more stringent testing than VADA.
The evidence was consistent with contamination since the levels of metabolites in Whyte's system were so low.
It's easy to see a headline and suppose that someone is doping in this sport (since cheating still evidently goes on), but it's worth digging into the facts if you want to get to the bottom of it.
Big Baby Miller is an example of someone who was caught blatantly cheating. Fury and Canelo have serious questions marks above their name, along with all those fighters who conveniently "miss" their tests.
To my mind, anyone purposefully injecting steroids into themselves should be banned for life; otherwise we're never going to get over this problem.
How did Dianabol contaminate Whytes sample?
I bet you still believe in the tooth fairy too.
Your conclusions are fundamentally flawed. You should do some research into PEDs in sport and how drug testing works before commenting.Comment

And I would defer to myself as a grown adult that is older than AJ by 4 years, to see the privilege he has.

Almost everything you just listed one could have written the same thing about the great Joe Louis. He was rich, had the admiration of whites and blacks, was cheered on by whites and made the champion of “American democracy” vs “Aryan superiority” against Max Schmeleng, was personally spoken to by President Roosevelt......meanwhile, I’m the 1930s and 1940s.....well do I really need to continue?
Material wealth and love for media created images can easily, and rightfully, be shown akin to “30 pieces of silver” if one chooses that route.....Comment

Nah.... just see virtue-signalling when I see it...... and privileged people in the UK using a US issue for publicity ...they lose ALL respect they had, promoting this shait during a pandemic, blind to the rest of the people that have been adhering to the law for the last two months, all across the country. These morons, idiots, and thugs are looked down upon by the majority of the UK.
