  • Comments Thread For: Arum Explains How "The Bubble" Will Work at Upcoming Top Rank Events

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum is confident that his staff and the Nevada State Athletic Commission have prepared properly for the return of major boxing to the United States for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic shut down the sports world in mid-March. It happened just a few days before Top Rank was due to put on featherweight world titlist Shakur Stevenson's first defense against Miguel Marriaga at the Hulu Theater in New York on March 14, forcing the card to be canceled as well as fights around the world in the ensuing months.

You want the fights on, you pay the price.

You'll find a way to claw the 25k plus interest per event so not really interested in the boo boo story..

After slating Dana for his mistakes in his set up, it's going to be all eyes on Bob.

Just don't forget your tin hat for the morning after Bob

Good ol' Bob. Always behind in the times. You want to be innovative right now. Figure out a way to allow fans in the building. This Covid **** is over. People are going out and cases are still declining. Time to go back to normal and it's sad that going back to normal is now being innovative.

The Bobfather Arum is always ahead of the pack.
He's also the very first to mention "studio fight,"
which left everyone wondering, "WTF is studio fight?"

It's fights without spectators in the arena doe.
And it will be a loooong time before everything goes back to normal.

That's why fighters need to start considering getting paid less
if they're already itching to get inside the boxing ring.
Otherwise, you will all rot in your little shelves.

That's cause they were in for three months. As long as the precautions are taken with masks and so forth, things should be okay. But if idiots don't take precautions because of "freedom" or conspiracy, it will come back strong.

Say what you want about Bob but he´s good for the sport. At his age and with his money he´s still working, could have been retired a long time ago.
