He is a good game fighter and a pleasure to watch but he wasn't that great. Look at some of the loses to guys like Alexander and Khan who were no where near as good as Crawford and Spence. I doubt a prime Maidana could beat either of them and I am sure this old Maidana can't beat them.

Maidana improved considerably after those losses

His accuracy,feints and set ups for his power punches were far more superior in his twilight

The khan fight he showed a lot of heart grtting up from that body shot and nearly stopping him

Not saying he will be any good now but that last 3 fights he had he stepped up to and elite level fighter for sure

Such a shame he stopped at the peak of his skills

- A Maidana/Ortiz rematch, OR
- Chino vs. a returning Ruslan Provodnikov, OR
- a Broner/Maidana rematch.

Nothing else matters for Chino.

In the ring, he's going to look exactly like the Erik Morales that fought him a decade ago. Shot, but will have a few moments. You cant train away age and inactivity.
