      I am going to see more of John Hedges. Sound he is a interesting boxers with his physical attributes. First time I hear about him.

        Exciting looking prospect who I see topping out @ 175Lb. 6-7 fights a year should be the target for the first couple of years & I'd like to see him on some of £ddie's oversea's shows.

          He's still a kid - why the rush to turn pro? The lad is from Essex and I don't think his parents are dirt poor. So apart from greed, he should've been allowed to stay in the Team GB ranks longer and gain more experience in the amateur ranks at big sporting events.

          Just because you're tall and lanky with physical tools - that doesn't always translate into success in boxing. Too early and my hope aren't that high on him since Matchroom isn't the best place to develop young inexperienced boxers. He would be forced to step up in the next 4-5 years and that might doom his career.
