edit: Apparently his debut was supposed to be on Showtime, but his opponent took one look at him at the weigh-in and backed out!

Lacy used to have a problem finding opponents and still will.Calzaghe tore him up but that does not in any way, shape or form many others can.

Lacy looked like a totally different fighter against Calzaghe ... he didn't have the handspeed, throw combinations or throw that jab. Calzaghe is obviously a far superior fighter to the guy Lacy knocked out in that clip, but I wonder why Lacy's style changed so much. Fell in love with the power punches?

You know, I look at Lacy in the Reid, Pemberton and Calzaghe fights and wonder how the hell he had 200+ amateur wins. He looked like **** in those fights.

i remember him fighting some journeyman southpaw, i think his name was grant, i dont want to look it up, his nickname was the alien. anyhow, lacy looked very ordinary in that fight as well, i didnt quite understand all the hype behind him leading up to the calzaghe fight, though i had no idea hed get his ass handed to him so badly. i think there are more 167lb'ers that can beat lacy than most people think.

Froch and Brahmer would beat him, I said that before the Reid fight, after the Reid fight, before the Calzaghe, after the Calzaghe fight.

But then again, Froch and Brahmer are the **** IMO.

I don't think Lacy can deal with good boxers. He can still win a title, but he'll never beat technical boxers who isn't afraid of him in my opinion.
