Dazn is about to be purchased by the NFL

    Dazn is done.

NFL is buying the platform to move Sunday Ticket to it, as well as a rebrand of the platform.

Dazn will be claiming bankruptcy and all fighters and leagues under contract, those contracts will be dissolved.

NFL is only buying the actually platform and the new server farm Dazn created. This keeps Sunday ticket in house.

Interesting twist: Hearn and Oscar also may be claiming bankruptcy as they are on the hook for their fighters guarantees in the Dazn contract. The bankruptcy will only remove Dazn liability off of the contracts for Canelo, GGG etc. but the promoters are still liable for those guaranteed paydays.

    You got a link man?

I read the article about DAZN in the Financial Times and it seems they are in deep water.

I was saying DAZN wouldnt be able to make those commitments back when they were announced and people here told me "oh no its an app, its a subscription, its different, they are just trying to get subscribers"

huh who would have ever thought that paying GGG $20-30 million to fight steve rolls could back fire and not be profitable.

This is sad. I guess we’ll have $150 PPV’s soon.

These threads are literally intended to sucker NSB readers whom have DAZN subs to cancel. Al Gaymon thinks it would actually work. Most Hispanic fight fans who’ve got DAZN don’t go to NSB anyways.

Yeah, cause DAZN was the only thing around that was keeping PPV prices in check...
