Because they signed both he & GGG for the 3rd fight, and they didn't get it done! Now it's not really as appealing as it once was. The 3rd fight was the supposed to be worth the large contract! Same could be said for Joshua! The paid all that money because they thought they would get Wilder vs. Joshua. Joshua gets beat down in NYC by Ruiz in his U.S. debut! Now they're getting Joshua vs. Pulev! Not quite the same!

Well maybe.. or probably.. but at least the fight would sell and promoters would make money.

The thing also is Fury doesn't have 10 fights left in him, so how are they gonna justify coughing up 400 mil?

Joshua X2 maybe... Wilder.. Then what? Ruiz? Untested Usyk? Garbage Whyte? After that?

You do realize pro athletes get endorsements from companies to use their equipment, products, etc. and the bigger the athlete the more they usually get paid to do so.

All the same, fraud or not, you will be hard pressed to find a municipality at this point in time that would allow attendance of the magnitude needed to turn a profit
The only ppv that would generate sufficient revenue would be fight #3 in the Fury-Wilder trilogy, staged in Saudi Arabia before a live crowd, or Fury-Joshua under the same conditions. Even those scenarios seem far fetched right now.

Why would I know the amount that Fury was paid for each sponsorship? Is that information I should be privy too? WTF are you talking about? Fury is the #1 heavyweight in the world, of course he has athletic sponsors you ignoramus.

Here's a few that I know off: BETFRED, Applied Nutrition, Wow Hydrate, Lund Group.

                Any other ****** questions ******?

Riiiight so you don’t know how much he is getting paid, but you are arguing that he is getting 7 million? And I’m the ignorant one here? Hahahahah. You Fury fans want him to be amazing so bad that you will believe anything that pumps him up. All while down playing anything bad about him. Like the fact that he is a steroids cheat and he lied about donating his purse to charity

Your comment brings to mind the following scripture:

(Isaiah 10:3) . . .What will you do on the day of reckoning, When destruction comes from afar? To whom will you flee for assistance, And where will you leave your wealth?

Anyhow, as right as you are in terms of economic laws, I still think that too many performers - in several areas of entertainment and sport - are grossly overrated, and consequently overpaid.

I respect it. There is also sometimes an issue where the fighter is paid too much and does not generate the money they are supposed to. Then that dries up budget dollars which prevents other good fights being made. So I get what you’re saying her.
