Rocky Fielding also had a secondary title so I don't blame Pascal for throwing his name out there. I don't think he will get the fight but you never know

I'm all for old vets (who have put it real work) such as Kovalev and Pascal seeking a retirement bag from Canelo!

Please dont make this fight. But ofcoarse it's an easy fight and belt for canelo so I'm sure he'll take it

I dont blame him at all. Hell for that matter he stands a better chance than somebody like Benavidez at winning the lottery even though I dont think Nelo would even consider Pascal

This sounds like a most interesting fight. Canelo is more skilled, but the bigger Pascal still packs a powerful lucky punch.

Everything revolves around money, for any industry. When Hearn and Oscar did meetings with DAZN it’s obvious in preparing for Canelo’s lucrative deal as well as GBP and Matchroom working together, Hearn and Oscar orchestrated Canelo’s DAZN debut with Fielding. If GGG (co promoted) by Matchroom offered Rolls then why is it hard to believe Matchroom gave GBP Fielding?

Fans justifying Rolls would mean you can justify a Regular WBA. I mean when we read GGG diehards on the forum criticize Canelo for debuting with a WBA Regular must surely remember or acknowledge that GGG’s career started by defending the WBA Regular...

Pascal has a lot more left in the tank at this stage of his career compared to Kovalev, that is a Fact

It only looks that way because he’s not beating the top guys. He’ll take another scary beating against an elite fighter.

Pascal is a stud and a real warrior but I’m good on that fight. I’d watch it and he’ll give his best but he’ll look bad and will take a bad beating.

Hope he rounds his career out without another devastating loss and goes out on his terms

If Pascal showed up as he has in his most recent fights, this would be very good. Pascal could revenge his loss to Froch and an old Hopkins all in one fight.

37 yr. old fighters though. For boxers the fire/switch/ability to be who they were goes out quickly and suddenly. If it did for Pascal this would be a terrible fight. Thus, it's very risky for Pascal and as a promotion.

That said, if everyone was sure the Pascal who has always been a warrior were gonna show up, I don't think Canelo would take this fight. Way too much risk, not a lot of reward, and a legacy quencher if he got KO'd. I'd bet the Pascal of years gone by would've KO'd him.
