Number one, he's not a draw.

He's LAB...local azz boxer.

He's a draw only somewhat better than the way Terrence Crawford is a draw in Nebraska.

His highest selling fight GROSSED just over 14 million dollars in ppv buys. It's still very much a question whether he could sell flies anywhere but in Britain. Hearn likes fights with Dillian because he makes more money by having a bigger share of the pie with Dillian. It's reported that Whyte and Parker each made about 1 million pounds apiece. So of course Hearn would hype Dillian.

Doesn't mean he's really any good tho.

Number two, what "best" has he fought?

Helenius on short notice and couldn't put him away even with a hand injured early?

Lucas Brown who got KTFO by David Allen last year?

Parker, who may not actually be very good yet Whyte still needed all kinds of help from the referee?

Chisora, whose best days are well behind him yet still led on cards before getting caught?

Rivas, who put Whyte on the canvas and should have been told about Dillian's dirty drug test but wasn't?

A 40 year old Wach on short notice, a guy just as old as Ortiz, who Dillian claims is too old? He struggled with Wach and everyone who saw that fight understands why he has avoided the Cuban.

And thru all of this, Whyte kept turning down opportunities offered to him for title shots and eliminators.

Whyte is exactly where he deserves to be.

And I hope Fury (or Wilder) makes him wait some more.
