it's "losing" luster right now, but after urango (i predict 7rd round TKO) when hatton fights castillo, the "luster" involved in his career will be higher then it was when he beat tszyu

Hell yeah hes lost luster. I remember once upon a time when there were Hatton/Mayweather threads all the time. Now I barely see any Hatton threads what so ever.

Hatton's fighting Urango has people are completely fine with that.

Yet Floyd fighting Spinks, you would think Floyd stole their only daughter's ******ity or something with the amount of hate the guy gets.

Hatton's career has definitely lost some luster since his big win against Koz but that isn't that big of a deal. He fought a title unification against Maussa (who wasn't the best opponent but he was a title holder and he beat a credible title holder in Harris). And then he moved to 147 and fought against a really tough title holder in Collazo. Sure he didn't look impressive but he won and Collazo can make a lot of people look bad. This fight is definitely a step backwards, but he can rectify it by fighting against somebody tough in his next fight. I can't blame the guy for wanting a certain type of fight for his firt fight back at 140.

man why is everybody mad cuz he robbed th e fight before collazo everybody was like oh yeah hell beat mayweather everybody and now just cuz he robbed one fight everybody is mad man jcc robbed a fight mayweather robbed a fight why is eveybody mad????????

Oh yes definitely and it's obvious. Hatton's career is losing lusters. He's no longer the talk of the town as before, he is no longer as HYPE as before because he is in U.S.

But this might be just temporary. It depends on how he's gonna come out against Urango and who he is fighting in his next.

after such a close victory over collazo where he was battered pretty badly, anybody would lose some luster. that fight showed that ricky's not perfect, ricky's not invincible, and it IS possible to break his undefeated record. up until the collazo fight, nobody really gave ricky a beating and ricky was never in a fight that was so closely contested.

after a fight and performance like the one he gave in the collazo fight, its no suprise to see that ricky's career has slowed down.
