I’d say AJ Has nothing more than a punchers chance, but as I’ve always said people of Fury’s quality, top level fighters, don’t lose against people with a punchers chance, it doesn’t exist at that level, Unless you have freak power like Wilder, but even then it’s unlikely to be enough at that top level, as we saw.

Fury is better in every department, maybe apart from one punch power, but Joshua hasn’t really got huge equalising power anyway, so it’s really not a factor.

AJ hits hard and knows how to box, Fury has neither, maybe can box a little but I haven't seen him fight alot of tough fighters like AJ has, even Wilder isn't as complete as AJ but at least Wilder can improve his boxing and be a complete fighter but Fury doesn't hit hard it seems he only has quickness and smothers them to where they can't swing.

Whilst that’s fairly decent reasoning, you’re neglecting a very important fact which basically makes your argument fall flat. Body types.

Deontay Wilder’s 232lbs was very heavy for him. His body type didn’t really sustain or suit the weight and he came in with his usual matchstick legs. This might have been a contributory factor to his balance being so poor in the rematch.

Joshua’s 238lbs v Ruiz was very light for him and his body can carry a lot more weight (weights which Wilder probably couldn’t even physically get to if he used PEDs)

The relative strength levels are very different between a guy bulking onto a skinny frame and a naturally strong guy reducing his weight.

Fury could certainly lean on AJ and try to wear him out (maybe effectively) but I seriously doubt there are any fighters who would rag doll AJ around. Andy Ruiz tried to bully AJ in the clinches in their rematch and couldn’t do it despite his huge weight “advantage” (if you want to call it that, lol)

I can’t wait to see the fight personally. I think Fury is going to have a much harder time against AJ than Wilder but I would still pick him to win.

Good points well made, and I agree that Fury won't be able to ragdoll AJ like he did to Wilder, I think it's going to be very interesting to see how both fighters approach the fight.

I still stand by my point that Fury has the size and strength advantage, however credit to Joshua, he's always in top shape and has a good coach and team who will give him a good game plan. However I believe Fury has a much higher boxing IQ and will be able to adjust to AJ rather than the other way round.

If both fighters are 100% then I really struggle to see how AJ wins, however if for whatever reason Tyson isn't fully prepared, the fight becomes much closer.

A slimmer AJ working on cardio would give fury more trouble. Although, his chin is still questionable. Did he have a concussion before the 1st ruiz fight which is skewing our perceptions??? Won't know till he takes a head shot.

Fury is a dog, an animal though. The guy does not quit in the ring. He does have king kong b@lls.

AJ will be a much tougher fight than wilder. He Doesn't just rely on 1 punch. He can throw combos on the inside and be highly effective unlike wilder. Fury left himself open a lot against wilder on the inside so i can see AJ having more success.

I still think wilder beats AJ but think AJ has the shot at beating fury... Styles make fights they say so these 3 guys need to fight each other.

What’s interesting about Fury vs Joshua is who hits harder, Joshua or Wilder. Fury took Wilder’s best shot and got off the canvas, not once but twice, to arguably win the first fight. And went into the 2nd fight with supreme confidence and dominated him before the corner stopped it.

Fury’s team has the footage on the 1st Joshua fight with Ruiz Jr. and the Wladimir fight. Fury knows he can hurt Joshua and he may believe that he can take a good shot from Joshua also. But Fury is difficult to hit as he gets in better shape. Wilder caught Fury when he wasn’t in the best shape. And what I mean best shape, is not necessarily the way his body looks, but his conditioning and reflexes and not having ring rust. I just think Fury beats Joshua by unanimous decision.

Because AJ's KO punches are hooks and uppercuts that catch you when you get close not some telegraphed right that you get a 10 second warning for. It's possibly the only thing he clearly does better than Fury.

Fury will run or clinch like a MF to smother them.
