Forbes article estimating Joshua's purse to be $60mil for the 2nd Ruiz fight https://www.forbes.com/sites/brianma.../#635e99ab4c61

That's already close to $100mil, and the first Ruiz fight falls into the date range Forbes is using for this list
I know the numbers are wrong and agenda driven. I was just trolling those dumb Wilder fans.

Sunday Times usually give the most conservative estimates and this year they published that AJ made £58M ($72M). Funny how last year Sunday Times said AJ made £20M (or so) and Forbes claimed he made $55M and that's because he fought once against Povetkin. But this year when he fought twice (one in a huge lucrative fight and was paid over $32M in the other) and his endorsements rose to £32M - they're claiming he made less money than last year. LMAO.

What he made from the PPV for the Ruiz rematch alone is over £20M (Ruiz was paid by DAZN) and what the PPV from that fight grossed is higher than what Fury vs Wilder did with the fake numbers they spammed everywhere. Once you add the ridiculous site fee - he made more than the Forbes fake net worth for Fury and Wilder combined from that fight alone.

It's pretty obvious they don't want him to be up there as the highest paid athlete in the world in the calender year since he made more money than Ronaldo and Messi combined. Or how would it look if the athlete they love to hate tops their list with over $150M?

Also, Fury and Wilder didn't make anything close to the fake numbers they posted up there. Wilder didn't even make $10M from the Ortiz fight - the fight sold less than 100k PPV. And Both Wilder and Fury didn't make more than $15M in their rematch.

Funny how Fury didn't make the Sunday Times list but on Forbes, he's the richest. LMAOOO.

But if he is making less than they claim, that means his supposed lowball offers are actually larger proportionally than everyone thinks.

If you wanted to lowball opposition, you wouldn't exaggerate your earnings, it would be the other way round.

As I said...50m on top of his purse and PPV revenue. Not only did he receive a hefty payout from the Saudis, he gets paid by Sky Sports. Not only did he get a hefty payout from the Saudis, gets paid by Sky Sports and DAZN, but both Ruiz fights did around 2m buys combined. If you really think AJ isn’t the highest paid heavyweight by a fair margin...then your memberships to the Wildette cult and AJ fan club have been upgraded, free of charge, to lifetime.

There’s no need to devalue Wilder when his highest total payday in more than 40 fights and five years as a world champion is 20m, which, lets have it right, was solely down to Fury

Wilder making 46.5m it’s as daft as when they said Wilder was the world’s most googled boxer of 2018

          True. It's highly questionable.

They inflated Fury's earnings, which mostly came from fighting in the US.

Who makes those kinds of figures in the US if you're not Mayweather or Pacquiao?

Forbes has become a huge joke.

They've been insulting people's intelligence for a long time now.

nah AJ has reason to act like he makes more so he can offer his opponents less or bs flat fee equivalent to 12.5%. Wilder made more money in fight purses than AJ. So AJ offering wilder a flat fee and trying to pocket the rest of the money is unacceptable.

Forbes have never been credible and the publication is mostly a political tool.

You salty because you devote all your emotions to and idolise the least skilled heavyweight champion of recent times who can’t box for shít, has the intellectual capacity of a wooden spoon and gets a lower purse than me nan’s weekly pension.

Sorry to break it to ya, poppet, but Wilder’s highest purse to date...is...a staggering...3.9m and that’s a documented fact confirmed by the Athletic Commissions. Wilder can’t even secure a higher purse than Charles Martin, nevermind AJ

AJ is the A side through and through. The sooner you accept it, the sooner the pain and bitterness will leave you.
