Mike Tyson in a Bare Knuckle Boxing Cage

Pretty frightening thought for any UFC guy thinking he could hang, even for some pro boxers.

But would Tyson still be Tyson, could he still tear through the average bare knuckle boxer? what about Shannon Briggs, who wins?

I think he is too old and his skin will tear extremely easy when hit. I say if he is gonna fight just late up the gloves. Stick to what ya know.

All the BKB fighters are bums, so i'd say yes.

As for Briggs vs Tyson, f*** knows, which ever one doesn't keel over first from lack of breath.

Old guys in BK fights seem like a bad idea unless you don't got any other options. I'd assume with this Tyson Ranch thing & the podcast + random sh^t Tyson can make money from would be a better option.

Than again if they are willing to pay him $20M+ to fight some punch drunk MMA guy like Wanderlei maybe it's not a thing worth turning down.

Is he wrestling Chris Jericho? I seen a clip on Twitter this morning.

That Jericho has really aged man. Tyson actually struggled to rip his shirt off yet people wanna see him come back, yikes...

True, but a bare-knuckle Tyson? Every punch at heavyweight is damaging.

I'd definitely want to watch, so far I think bare-knuckle boxing is more entertaining than gloved up boxing.

The thought of Tyson in there ripping it up is compelling, unless he has nothing left of course.

James Toney tried it and didn't do well at all. The best of those guys are too smart to trade punches with a boxer. They just stay back and then when they get a chance they knock the boxer down and beat him on the ground. No boxer can beat a skilled wrestler and judo guy on the ground. the boxer must win by KO before he gets taken to the ground. Maybe the fast 25 year old Tyson with one punch KO power could have done that. This fat 53 year old Tyson has no chance to beat a good UFC heavyweight.

My thread title was misleading, I was referring to a bare knuckle boxing ring, rather than a UFC cage. No ground-work permitted. Tyson received a $20m offer.

I was looking at the BKFC ring earlier, it's actually bigger than I remembered. There's a chance Tyson could struggle with mobility. The BKB ring would've suited him better, it was much smaller.
