Hearn should have already put together some studio fights like Arum did, even if it meant looking for a different location conducive to such events. Same with other promoters, especially those in the US that have access to Nevada now that the casinos and hotels will be open June 4th in Nevada.

I'm sure Hearn and Warren and all British promoters have been looking at all possible solutions to getting fights on in the country. They have to work under the restrictions of the country which I would imagine Is the sticking point.

America's restrictions are for more lenient hence more noises coming from the American promoters.

I don't know the spread in Navada or rest of America but I predict a second wave happening if correct precautions aren't took and wouldn't be surprised of another Navada lockdown. But then again Trump and the country don't give a monkeys about its people so who knows..

Honestly, the mind boggles. They could all be swallowed by the earth and I wouldn't bat an eye, as someone will just take their place. As you say, I just wanna see the fights, who owns the rights is of no concern to me unless it stops fights from happening. In that case I'm happy for haters to hate on them if it puts pressure on them to sign a deal.

I think some people just like to fangirl over **** as they feel they belong to something (nationality, race, fighter fan club...) I genuinely couldn't care less, best fighting the best regardless of any of that is why I love the sweet science.

Nevada is the boxing mecca of the world. If a 100 year old man who owns Top Rank can get fights for June, so can all the other promoters. When a 100 year old man beats someone to the punch, that is embarrassing as hell. And as long as all the precautions are in place for studio fights, precautions that were approved by Nevada, then that is the main concern a boxing promoter has. The promoter has to make sure that the building has a limited head count, distancing, etc. The rest of Nevada has to follow protocol which is skeptical since it lives and thrives on masses.

Hearn, Warren and other British promoters main concern is the British boxers in Britain and they'll be focusing and sorting those guys out first and foremost..

For the posters who are delighted about the demise of DAZN, I hope it’s true so they can rejoin, I know they were wrong when they said no of note would sign for an app. Then they saw the biggest name cut his own deal with that app. And they just couldn’t take it.
