The Whyte case was like a Contador case he tested negative days sequentially, one day positive, and the remaining days when racing negative.
That’s not the same thing as Wilder since “spiking a drink” would be hours or during the fight to giving your blood and urine in the locker room. You can’t cleanse your system in 2 hours and not expect traces of something to the locker roomComment

He almost certainly was not doped but VADA doesn't test for every possible drug or compound known to exist. They test for testable drugs on the banned substance list and most sedatives are not on the list. Most if not all barbiturate's are not on the banned substance list so VADA will have no reason at all to test for them.Comment
